The Sandy Arts Guild is sponsoring a new vocal program for budding young singers, “Singing Adventure for Kids.” The program is for youth who are currently in 1st through 5th grade. It is at The Theater at Mount Jordan, 300 East 9400 South, Sandy. The program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from October 4 through November 10, 5:30-6:30 pm with a performance the evening of Saturday, November 12. The cost of the program is $40. The program will offer students a chance to learn basic singing, music, and ensemble skills in a fun and safe environment. No previous music experience is required. Participants will learn a variety of songs as a group while gaining skills and experience to boost their confidence and prepare for future musical opportunities. Registration is limited. Up to two absences are allowed. The week of November 8 is mandatory.
