AUDITIONS for “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”

The Sugar Factory Playhouse is pleased to announce that, after an 11-year hiatus, the Herdmans and the Bradleys are returning in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”.

In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids — probably the most inventively awful kids in history.  You won’t believe the mayhem — and the fun — when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

This show is a full-length comedy with music.  Directed by Pat Oliver.

Auditions will be held October 5th and 6th, 6:30 – 9:00, at Pioneer Hall (1137 W 7800 S, West Jordan, UT 84088).  Callbacks by invitation only.

Please bring your resume (and headshot if you have one).  Come prepared to do a cold read from the script and sing a Christmas song.

Seeking children ages 6-18, and adults to 75.

All roles are open.  This is a true community theater; no roles are paid.  No participation fees.

Rehearsals will be held at Pioneer Hall until November 20th, and will then move to the Midvale Performing Arts Center (695 W Center St {7720 South}, Midvale, UT 84047), where the show will be performed.

Performance dates:  December 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, and two shows on the 17th.
