Should we wish to audition, is there a date by which you would like us to submit our audition song?
No. Our pianist is very capable.
Will we need to bring the music to our solo piece then?
Yes
Are their age requirements to participate in this show or for any of the roles?
We typically fill children roles with those who have a family member in the show. We do need adults rather than teens in the roles lie Golda, Tevye, the butcher, and others. But we like a large ensemble for our shows.
I am interested in auditioning but I am curious about what days of the week and times rehearsals take place. If you could provide a general picture of the rehearsal schedule I would be grateful.
We generally rehearse evenings and Saturday mornings. A schedule will be created when the director sees conflicts people have. We try to rehearse scene and if you aren’t in a scene you are’t required to be there.
For the dance part of the audition, do you want us to come up with a solo dance or is that part of the audition a group thing?
It is a group thing.
Are there any roles for a teenage girl to play the youngest daughter?
Yes, and there are the two younger sisters as well.
When will callbacks be and when do rehearsals begin?
Callbacks are on March 11. Rehearsal schedule has not yet been determined.
