Pleasant Grove Players will be holding auditions for their upcoming production of the timeless classic, “12 Angry Men” by Reginald Rose, on Saturday, March 5 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm in the Keith Christeson Theater on the first floor of the PG Library (30 E. Center). Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No appointment is needed. Howard and Kathryn Little will be directing this production.
“12 Angry Men” follows the deliberations of 12 jurors following the closing arguments in a murder trial. A guilty verdict means death for the accused, an inner-city teen. As the dozen men try to reach a unanimous decision while sequestered in a room, one juror casts considerable doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues soon rise to the surface, and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide one boy’s fate.
Needed are twelve adult men.
Performance dates are April 22 – May 9 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings. There will also be a Saturday matinee on May 7.
