Farmington City to hold auditions for the Musical, Mary Poppins.
The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

Please come prepared with 16 bars of a broadway style song or song from the show. MP3 player connection, CD Player will be provided. Piano can be provided, however you must provide your own accompanist. Resume and headshots are welcome but not required.
Callbacks will be held on Tuesday May 5th by invitation only. Rehearsals will generally be Tues & Thurs 6:30-9:30PM & Saturday 9:00AM - Noon (Potential rehearsals on Wednesdays). Rehearsals will increase in frequency the last two weeks before the show opens.
The show will run July 28 - August 3 (no Sunday) at the Farmington Community Art Center, 120 S Main.

A participation Fee of $15 for Resident and $25 for Non-resident are required at the time of auditions. For children under 18, and do not have a parent participating in the show, a Volunteer Deposit of $75 will be due at the time of audition (The Volunteer Deposit has been put into place to insure parent involvement in the production. These shows cannot take place without the help of the parents! We need you! The deposit is fully refunded at the conclusion of the production as each parent contributes to the success of the show.)
All cast and crew are non-paid, volunteer positions.
