Brigham’s Playhouse Presents: It’s a Wonderful Life-The Musical
Brigham’s Playhouse started the holiday season off right with “It’s a Wonderful-The Musical”, which opened Tuesday, November 10th. This production will continue to run Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:00pm with an additional matinee performance at 2:00pm on Saturdays, until January 2nd. No need to wait until we get further into the season to attend though. “It’s a Wonderful Life” is a beloved story to be told again and again. This is the second year that Brigham’s Playhouse has produced this musical and they plan to continue the tradition from year to year and invite the whole community to make it a part of their holiday traditions as well!
“It’s a Wonderful Life-The Musical” is based off of the original heartwarming Frank Capra screenplay, but has been adapted into a stage musical. George Bailey has lived in Bedford Falls his entire life, and dreams of leaving to explore the world. But as the years go by, George is filled with regret as he sees his hopes and dreams remain unfulfilled. George comes to a point in his life where he hits rock bottom and is sent an angel named Clarence to help change his perspective. After George wishes that he had never been born, he gets a taste of what life would have been like for everyone without him. In the process he comes to see how wonderful his life truly is. With charming music, a talented cast, and a message of hope, this production is a perfect addition to the festivities of the season!
