Midvale Main Street is dedicated to bringing the Utah community quality and fun theatre and we can’t do it without all of our amazing patrons who come to see both our featured shows as well as our weekend comedy improve troupe, Quick Wits.
That’s why we need your help!
Our soundboard has since passed on to the great big Broadway theatre in the sky and, since we are borrowing a loner soundboard at the this time, we need to purchase a new one as soon as we can. We especially need to before our next show, Hairspray, opens in January. Between paying for sets, costumes, lighting, music, and even the upkeep of the theatre itself, our budgets get a bit strained and paying for a new soundboard has become a tricky situation.
That’s where you come in.
On Saturday January 11, 2014, Midvale Main Street Theatre will be holding our first BROADWAY REVIEW FUNDRAISER: A musical and dance event featuring numbers from Chicago, The Little Mermaid, Hairspray, Jekyll & Hyde, Singing in the Rain, Wicked, Spamalot, and many more!
We would like to invite all of you to come. We will be featuring both past actors and actresses that have graced our stage as well as new faces. In return for an amazing show, we ask for you to open your pockets and help donate towards the purchase of our new soundboard. Anything helps! $20, $10, or even $5 will help us reach our goal that much sooner. Also, all money made at our concessions will also be donated towards the new soundboard.
