I have an independent film project and we are about to start a kickstarter campaign to raise funding. It’s a webseries to air on youtube called: Growing Up: College Style. It’s basically about a group of nerds just being their nerdy selves. Think of The Big Bang Theory but with out the geniuses, language, or sex. So…a true nerd show.
What we are looking for is someone who can contact businesses- via phone or email- during the run of the kickstarter campaign to see if we can arrange a donation or funds in exchange for product placement, investment, etc… Those businesses or individuals would then become a backer on kickstarter. Once the project is funded, you would receive a 10% cut of the budget.
With kickstarter in order to receive funds the entire project has to be funded. If we don’t hit our budget goal, we don’t get a penny of anything people have promised. So, basically we really want to hit that goal. Currently, the amount we need is at least $66,500. If we were to bring you on that would mean you would get roughly $6,000. If more is raised, of course you would get more.
As far as experience goes, it’s not necessary. We are just looking for someone with drive and the willingness to do the work.
Anyway, if that sounds like something you would be interested in, please let me know. We are looking to get this campaign launched as soon as we can. We have a deadline to hit
