Audition Notice for the Annual Dickens Festival, featuring Oliver and Scrooge.
Come and consider yourself part of the family. Auditions for the beloved musicals, Oliver! and Scrooge will be held Thursday, September 10th from 7-8:30pm and Friday, September 11th from 7-9pm at 3120 W 4700 S.
Please come prepared with 16 bars from a song in the style of the show. Sides from the script will be provided to you at the time of your audition, if needed. An accompanist will be provided or you may use an IPod of Ipad.
All parts are currently available! Casting Needs Include:
Boys and Girls, ages 5 and up
Please be aware that children between the ages of 5-11 will require a parent to be involved in the production, for the child to be eligible for casting.
Young Men and Women, ages 12-17
Please be aware that parental consent will be required, and it is strong encouraged for you to convince mom and dad to join in the cast and fun!
Adults 18 and up
We are especially looking for Families and Men!
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, September 12th at 3pm at 3120 W 4700 S, by invitation only.
Rehearsals will begin October 1st and will be held every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening, excluding the weekends of Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Performance Dates: December 10-12

Director: Brian Cota
This years Dickens Festival will be directed by Brian Cota. Brian is a graduate of Southern Utah University, with his degree in Theatre. Brian has worked with the Utah Shakespeare festival as well as several theater companies throughout Utah.
Assistant Director/Stage Manager: Liz Haight
Liz is a graduate of Southern Utah University, with her degree in Theatre. Liz has worked with the Utah Shakespeare festival as well as several theatre companies across the country.
