Loved the first book. The second and third book are acceptable extensions of that story, and I'm supportive of what the author decided to do with them.

War can be hell.  Messy, with needless loss.  Sad

I'm just a couple of chapters into the first book.  Wishing I had more time to read it.

Yeah that last chapter was amazingly poignant. I'm so glad the author had the courage to go there.

I will say more once I get the go ahead from y'all so as not to spoil. Wink
