The Sandy Arts Guild announced audition for The Music Man!
When: Tuesday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 10, 6:30 – 9:30 pm
Where: Sandy Parks & Rec (440 East 8680 South, Sandy)
Callbacks: Saturday, May 13 (by invitation)
Show Dates: August 4 – 19, 2023
Production Team: David Hanson, Director; Eric Richards, Music Director; Reagan Stott, Choreographer
Needed are people 10 years and older. All roles are open.
Audition Preparation:
- Reserve an audition time (Highly recommended but not required)
- Download and complete an audition form (hard copies are also available at auditions)
- Download & review character descriptions.
- 16-32 bars of music (similar style of the show), preferably demonstrating your vocal range, power, and if applicable, your legit. Please bring music properly marked with starting and ending points. No minus tracks, please. An accompanist will be available.
- Learn the dance combo routine (linked here). Be prepared to dance at the initial audition.
- Bring a list of scheduling conflicts between May 13 and August 19, a current photo, and resume.
