Auditions for The 39 Steps sponsored by the Sandy Arts Guild
When: November 16 – 17, 7 – 9pm
Where: Sandy Parks & Recreation (440 East 8680 South, Sandy)

Needed are people 18 years and older. All roles are open.
Audition Preparation:
- Download and complete an audition form (hard copies are also available at auditions)
- Review character descriptions.
- Cold reading from the script, sides provided.
- Group reading from the script.
- Bring a list of scheduling conflicts between December 1 and February 10, a current photo, and resume.
- Reserve an audition time.
During auditions, you will have the opportunity to do a single read from the prepared sides, and a group reading with those in your group. Expect auditions to last roughly 15 – 30 minutes and callbacks for roughly two hours on Saturday the 18th. Auditions and callbacks are at the Sandy Parks and Rec Building, 440 East 8680 South, Sandy.
Rehearsals will start December 6th. One of the expectations for the show is for actors to commit to memorization during the month of December so that rehearsals in January are spent working the bits and comedic timing.
