Auditions: Monday February 22, 2016 7:30-10:30 pm AND February 23, 2016 7:30-10:30 pm
Please come to the audition prepared with 32 bars of a musical theater song in the style of the show. Children may sing any song they feel most comfortable singing that suits their voice. An accompanist will be provided. Headshot and resume strongly encouraged. Callbacks will be February 24th by invitation only.
*Sundance will also be participating in Rocky Mountain Summer Stock Theater Auditions at UVU on February 20-anyone attending RMSSTA does not need to attend this separate audition for local artists. *February 22 & 23 will be specifically seeking middle aged and older performers and children. There are roles available for all ages; no roles have been pre-cast.

Sundance Summer Theater announces auditions for this year’s production of “The Music Man!” The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize - this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.
The success of the Sundance Summer Theatre has grown since its return to Sundance in 2008. This year promises to be just as memorable with yet another musical brought to life in Sundance’s beautiful outdoor venue. Sundance is happy to continue their partnership with Utah Valley University which supports the Sundance vision of unspoiled and authentic experiences where art, nature, and commerce unite.
