Shakespeare’s Richard II

Some of the most beautiful language in all of Shakespeare’s plays is found in his histories. To take celebrate this, we’re holding auditions for the play “The Life and Death of King Richard II”.

Auditions will be held Saturday, September 9 from 10:00 am to noon at 4142 North Lake Mountain Road, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005.

Please prepare a dramatic monologue from any Shakespeare play that you would like to present that will give me a feel for your dramatic range. You can choose the length, but please, nothing longer than the St. Cripin’s Day Speech from Henry V (found in Act IV, Scene III). (Hamlet’s To Be or Not to Be speech is probably a good length).

If you have a dramatic resume, please bring it. Head shot is nice, but not required.

Produced & Directed by Nate Jenson.
