SUGAR FACTORY PLAYHOUSE AND WEST JORDAN THEATER ARTS ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE AUDITIONS FOR PLAY ON!, the hilarious comedy by Rick Abbot. Directed by Rosalie Richards.
Auditions will be January 20 and 21 from 7-9 p.m. at the old West Jordan Library (1970 W. 7800 S.). Callbacks will be by invitation only at the same location on Saturday, January 23.
Auditioners should come prepared with a one-minute humorous monologue. The available roles are as follows:
Aggie Manville – a stage manager and prompter
Geraldine “Gerry” Dunbar – a community theatre director
Henry Benish – (“Lord Dudley” – a character actor)
Polly Benish – (“Lady Margaret” – a character actress)
Marla “Smitty” Smith – (“Doris the maid” – a supporting player)
Saul Watson – (“Doctor Rex Forbes” – a villain)
Billy Carewe – (“Stephen Sellers” – a juvenile)
Violet Imbry – (“Diana Lassiter” – an ingenue)
Louise Peary – a sound/lighting/scenic technician
Phyllis Montague – a novice playwright in in the community
