Desert Star Youth Theater is proud to announce its Fall 2017 production of “Hello, Dolly!”
We are looking for singers, actors, and dancers ages 14-19 to play principal and ensemble roles.

This beloved classic will perform October 26 - 28th of 2017. It will be directed and musical directed by Bronson Todd, and choreographed and assistant directed by Rebecca Johnson.
For the audition, please prepare to sing 32 bars (approx. sixty seconds) of an uptempo musical theatre song in the style of the show. A selection from “Hello, Dolly!” is appropriate. If you are auditioning for a specific role, we recommend you sing a song performed by that role. For example, if you are auditioning for the role of Dolly Levi, you should sing a cutting of “Before The Parade Passes By” or “I Put My Hand In”.
If cast, there is a non-refundable participation fee of $250.00. The participation fees are the primary source of the shows budget for costumes, props, sets, etc.
Rehearsals will begin on Monday September 4th, and will be held M-W-F from 5 to 9 PM and on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 4 PM. These times will change for tech and dress rehearsals.
