“Disney’s Freaky Friday” Audition Notice

The Ziegfeld Theater announces open auditions for “Disney’s Freaky

Friday” directed by Morgan Parry.

​

PERFORMANCES: Will be held at The Ziegfeld Theater on February 19, 20, 26, 27, March 1, 5, 6, 8, 12, and 13 at 7:30 PM with matinees on February 27, March 6 at 2:00 PM.

ROLES: Seeking strong actor, singer, dancers. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN.  Actors of ALL races and skin color are HIGHLY encouraged to audition. Roles will not be assigned based on race.

AUDITIONS (VIDEO SUBMISSION): all videos will be due no later than December 20th at 12:00 AM. Please provide a 2 min max video with:

• 16-32 bars of music

• 30-60 seconds monologue (optional)

CALLBACK: Call backs will be in person at the Ziegfeld Arts Academy on December 22 at 6 pm and possibly 23 at 6pm. **Masks required to attend callbacks

REHEARSALS will begin December 28th and will usually be held at the Ziegfeld Arts Academy, Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoon. We will have a number of rehearsals over Zoom.

SAFETY: We will be taking every safety measure possible throughout this process. No person will be allowed to attend our first in-person rehearsal without providing proof of receiving a negative test result for covid 19 within a week of Jan 2nd. Masks will be required for all rehearsals. With Enhanced sanitization of rehearsal and performance spaces. For performances, actors will be masked off stage and possibly on stage in some scenarios.
