Desert Star’s Christmas Vacation: The Polarized Express

Desert Star Playhouse is holding auditions for two upcoming productions on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Auditions will be held at our theater, located on 4861 S. State St. in Murray, UT. Multiple roles are open for male and female actors, ages 18 and older. We’re looking for experienced actors. Must be able to do comedy and be strong singers; some dance experience required. Please bring 32 bars of 2 contrasting songs that demonstrate your vocal ability. Be prepared with a short comedic monologue, short story or series or jokes or amusing anecdotes and please bring your own sheet music. No recorded music is allowed and an accompanist is provided. Roles are double cast and all actors are paid. Rehearsals will be held in the evenings. TBA.
