Crazy for You

Sugar Factory Playhouse announces auditions for “Crazy for You” by Ken Ludwig, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin and music by George Gershwin. “Crazy for You” is directed by Liz Smith.

Auditions will be held April 23 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and April 27 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at West Jordan City Hall (8000 S. Redwood Road). Auditioners should come prepared to sing 16 bars of an upbeat, Broadway-style song. And accompanist will be provided. Recorded accompaniment is allowed so long as the auditioner provides the means to play the accompaniment. Please bring a theater resume and headshot if possible.

Call-backs will be April 27 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. by invitation only. Those called back should come prepared to learn choreography. Auditioners should bring comfortable shoes and tap shoes (if available) to call-backs.

Performances will be July 11, 12, 13, 15, 18, 19, 20, and 22 at 7:30 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on July 13 at the Midvale Performing Arts Center (695 W. Center Street).
