AUDITION NOTICE: Riverton Arts Council’s upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Auditions will be taking place on Thursday January 7th and Friday January 8th from 6pm to 9pm and on Saturday January 9th from 9am to 12pm. Callbacks will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday January 9th for those who are invited. All auditions will be held at the Sandra N. Lloyd Community Center located at 12830 South Redwood Road in Riverton.
Auditions are open for all those aged 7 and up. Our children’s choir will be comprised of children between the ages of 7 and 13. Leads will be cast from those aged 14 and up. All auditioners should come prepared with 16-bars of a song in the style of the show. Music may be brought in minus track MP3 or sheet music form. An accompainist and CD player/Ipod dock will be provided, so we ask that you do not sing accapella. There will be a short dance combo as well so come prepared to move. Each auditioner should also bring a current headshot and updated resume if available.
