It’s time once again for Salt Lake Singers Academy and The Performer Studio present their big, annual tribute concert. A TRIBUTE TO DISNEY!, which will perform June 10-11.
ENTRY INTO THIS BIG PRODUCTION IS BY AUDITION ONLY. We use the auditions as a learning tool for our students to grow and learn how to improve in the audition arena. All auditions are videotaped for this purpose.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
1-A verse and chorus of a song that will showcase your vocals to your current best ability (singer must sing to and provide karaoke track).
2-A one minute (or less) monologue from your favorite Disney character.

We are seeking ALL AGES for this production and are ENCOURAGING all ethnicities to help us celebrate diversity in this production! We are thrilled to bring to life the beautifully animated stories from cultures around the world that Walt Disney focused on in his feature films. Through great music, these textured tales will be told by students of Salt Lake Singers Academy. We still have available spaces for soloists as well as featured chorus members. Featured chorus members who make it through auditions will have the opportunity to be in one of the following TWO EXCITING GROUP CLASSES for YOUTH (AGES 8-12) and ADULTS! Soloists can be ANY AGE. YOUTH DISNEY JUNGLE CHORUS!AGES 8-12) Thursday afternoons 4:00-5:30 - up to 10 students maximum (5 minimum). This class will work on ensemble numbers with featured vocalists. We are creating fun mashups from the myriad of great animal kingdom characters in the Disney works! Learn how to harmonize, incorporate basic movement and acting skills and create memorable animal characters!
ADULT DISNEY GOSPEL CHORUS!: (AGES 19 & UP!) Friday evenings 6:00-8:00pm - up to 10 students maximum (5 minimum). Learn sweet harmonies to some of the greatest music from the Disney repertoire. Participants will help tailor some of the lyrics from Herules’ Greek Gospel Chorus to support our unique historical journey through the Disney ages of feature animated films! This class will allow chorus members to have special character features and will function as a Greek narrator of sorts.
