The Neil Simon Festival 2013 Summer Season includes three shows by Neil Simon and an original musical by Larry Carpenter, Arthur Kaufman, and Helen Bates. Lost in Yonkers, The Sunshine Boys, 45 Seconds from Broadway, and Song-Poems Wanted!
Performers - Please come prepared to perform two contrasting monologues, or one monologue and 16 bars of a Broadway song. There will not be an accompanist at the audition, so please bring a music CD, guitar to accompany yourself, or be prepared to sing a cappella. At least one monologue should be from a Neil Simon play. Also, please come with resume and head shot. No appointment is necessary. If possible come during the first half of the audition period. Characters range in age from 13 to 79. Often company members are asked to perform in more than one show. Shows run in repertory July 10 – August 10, 2013 in Cedar City, UT. Rehearsals begin May 31st for The Sunshine Boys which will perform in Park City, UT in mid-June before moving to Cedar City. The remainder of the shows will begin rehearsing on June 17th in Cedar City. Performance contracts end on August 11th for all but the cast of Lost in Yonkers, which will perform in Park City through August 16th. Most positions are paid; a few may be apprenticeships. Housing will be provided for out-of-town artists.

Saturday, February 9, 2-4 pm on the campus of the Dixie State College in St. George, Utah in the Eccles Fine Arts Building - Room 156.
Friday, February 15-16 as part of the Next Step auditions at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Conference at the Los Angeles Theatre Center in Los Angeles, CA.
