Skye’s the Limit! Productions is now AUDITIONING and accepting video submissions for their upcoming productions: ”Footloose” and “Sweeney Todd.”
Footloose will run from July 19th through August 31st. Performances will be every weekend.
Performances are at Diamond Lils in Salt Lake City
Rehearsals will start April 2nd.
Please “Slate” to the camera and state your name, part auditioning for, song you are singing, agency you are with if applicable, then go into singing your song.
1. Please sing 18 bars to a similar genre (80;s), You may sing with a karaoke track, live music, or acapella. DO NOT SING A SONG FROM THE ACTUAL SHOW. You also may sing a song that is not from a musical but needs to be in the 80′s genre.
2. Please attach your current Headshot
3. Please also attach your resume and send video with resume and headshot to: [email protected]
Your video SHOULD NOT exceed 2 minutes. If your video exceeds 2 minutes you will be excluded from the casting process. We want to make sure everyone who wants to audition has a chance to do so, so please stick to the video requirements to ensure everyone can be seen.
Sweeny Todd:
Video submissions should include everything that is stated above. All requirements and time limits are the same.
Sweeney Todd will run from October 4th through November 9th with performances every weekend with the exception of performances on October 30th, 31st.
Rehearsals begin: July 29th.
YOU MAY AUDITION FOR BOTH SHOWS IN ONE VIDEO. If you would like to audition for both shows you may do so, your video CANNOT EXCEED 5 minutes. Please include the following:
1. Slate your name before each song. Example: “my name is Joe and I will be singing “wanted dead or alive” I am auditioning for Ren………” then sing your song
2. Slate your name and song you will be singing and part you are auditioning for, for Sweeney Todd, then sing your song. DO NOT SING A SONG FROM SWEENEY TODD OR FOOTLOOSE.
3. Attach Resume
4. Attach current Headshot.
5. Email steps 1 through 4 to: [email protected]
DO NOT EXCEED 5 minutes.
Those selected will be invited to attend Callbacks. If you are selected, callback information will be sent to you via email which will include date and time etc.
