Requirements: Prepare a monologue from Shakespeare, may be used for both Tempest and The Tragedy Show. For Tempest please sing 16 bars of a song a capella.
If you cannot make the initial audition please submit your headshot and resume to: for review. You wil be contacted if you are invited to the call back.
Callbacks will be on May 25 at 10AM by invitation
The festival opens August 9th and plays for 3 weekends with shows on Fridays and Saturdays
THE TEMPEST
A Mainstage production. Actors 18+ please. Younger actors should audition for Much Ado About Nothing (see below)
BREAKFAST WITH SHAKESPEARE. TRAGEDY IN FOUR SHORT STORIES
Four short versions of Shakespeare’s tragedies combined into two acts. A Mainstage production. Most roles are played adult actors. Cast size 8-12, Actors 18+ please. Younger actors should audition for Much Ado About Nothing (see below)
Four Directors will be selected from the cast, please indicate on your audition form if you would like to be considered as a director of one of the pieces.
GREENSHOW
AUDITIONS: TBA, Late June
A 15-20min variety show. Looking for actors, dancers, jugglers and other performers
MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

Shakespeare Summer Classes are available. Shakespearience, Shakespeare Audition and Shakespeare Studio Performance and Design class! (see description below)
A Youthstage production. All roles are played by youth to young adult actors.

Don’t be intimidated by the singing as it’s not a musical. However there are lyrics in the Tempest and the Director may want to have characters sing a little.
