Silver Summit Theatre is looking to cast the role of PETER for our upcoming production of The Pavilion by Craig Wright.
Please read notice carefully, and submit ONLY if you are right for this role.
Note: This show will be performed in the Salt Lake Valley. The action takes place during a 20-year high school class reunion in the fictional Midwest town of Pine City, Minnesota. The cast consists of the Narrator, Peter, and Kari. This is a beautiful story and we suggest you make yourself familiar with it before deciding to audition.
PETER: 38ish; attractive, charming, decent guy who is haunted by the one wrong decision in his life-his abandonment of Kari. Now an analyst in St. Paul, he’s in a life crisis, which has been exacerbated by the reunion. There’s something of the romantic about him as he wears his heart on his sleeve and lays his cards on the table. Actor must also have a pleasant singing voice and play some guitar.

-Auditions will take place from 2 PM to 3 PM on Saturday February 15th, with call backs immediately following. You must be available for the callbacks which will go from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM.

-You don’t need to be completely memorized, however the more memorized you are the greater our appreciation for your efforts.
-You should also be prepared to play either the music from the show (see attached), or another song of your choice.
-Please bring your own guitar if you have one; if not, a guitar will be provided.
-This successfully cast actor will receive a stipend. -Rehearsals will take place in the greater Salt Lake Valley beginning in late March. Dates and times will be solidified upon casting based on several factors, including items on the conflict calendar.
-The show will run June 6-29th.
-All roles other than Peter have already been cast. -There are NO AEA contracts available for this role/production.
