This is a short film I am making to enroll in an advanced makeup class I want to take at my Special Effects school this fall. It’s going to be a classic type short horror film, about a girl named Ashley and her drug addicted friends who throw a party up in the canyon, and get stuck on a bad trip where things go horribly, horribly wrong.
SPEAKING ROLES:
ASHLEY: (Pre-casted)
BAILEY: 16-20 age range, ditzy, surface level, Ashley’s best friend.
APRIL: 16-20 age range, very masculine & commanding personality, cunning and smart.
JAIME: 16-20 age range, burn-out, drop out, very apathetic about life.
TYLER: 18-21 age range. Ashley’s shitty boyfriend, who has a bit of a temper & experimental drug problem.
LUKE: 18-21 age range. Rational, quick thinker. Opposite for April, leader of the group type.
ZACK: 18-21 age range. Only cares about himself, and his own well-being.
FUZZY: 18-25 age range. College drop out who still thinks it’s cool to go to high school parties and sells alcohol to minors.
ASHLEY’S MOM: 28-32 age range. Small speaking part.
