Auditions for “The Murder Room”
West Jordan Theater Arts and the Sugar Factory Playhouse are holding auditions for Jack Sharkey’s three act British farce, “The Murder Room.” Auditions will be held January 8th and 9th from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at West Jordan City Hall, 8000 South Redwood Road.
Those auditioning are welcome, but not required, to present a short comedic dialogue. They will also be required to read from the script.
The cast includes:
Edgar (40’s-50’s) – A seasoned English gentleman.
Mavis (30’s) – Edgar’s new English bride. A gold digger.
Lottie Malloy (30’s-60’s) – The British housekeeper.
James (30’s-40’s) – British police constable.
Susan (20’s) – Edgar’s daughter just returning from studies in America.
Barry (20’s) – A Texan visiting England.
