Starlight Mountain Theatre is a Summer Stock Theatre Company in its 16th Season and is located 55 miles North of Boise, in Garden Valley ID. Starlight produces family friendly entertainment that allows young artist to blossom in an uplifting environment.
Our 2015 Season consists of 4 Broadway Musicals, Performed in Repertory:
Cinderella, Calamity Jane, Thoroughly Modern Mille, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers*
What you need to know about auditions:
• Please prepare a verse and a chorus of two Broadway songs, an upbeat and a ballad. (Ballads will be performed only by request)
[Please bring minus tracks to for your songs. [Technology to play your phone, mp3 player, ipod or cd will be available] [A pianist will be available for the Salt Lake and Boise auditions]
Please bring head-shot and resume.
• Everyone will learn a short dance combination. Please dress comfortably.
• Cold reading will be required by actors who are called back.
• Commitment is from May 15 - end of August.
• Salaries and housing provided.
• If you are from the Boise area you can audition at the age of 15. Actors from other areas must be graduated from high school.
