We are holding open auditions for an amazing production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night! All roles are open! We would like to cast 12 talented actors to play all the parts and to provide music throughout the show. Please come to the audition prepared with a 1 minute monologue (funny or dramatic). We’d also like auditioners to sing 16 bars or play on an instrument of their choosing for about a minute. There will not be a piano there-come prepared to sing a capella. We want to create an ensemble cast that will take audiences on a rollicking and musical journey through Illyria! Roles include the brooding Duke (If music be the food of love, play on!) the snooty Olivia, the adventurous Viola, the playful fool, the bellowing Toby, the dancing Sir Andrew, the cunning Maria, and a slew of other hilarious and fantastic characters.

Rehearsals start Nov 15. We open Jan 16. We will take a break for people to enjoy the holidays-(which is why we’re scheduling 2 months of rehearsal.) The plan is to rehearse 3 to 4 nights a week, depending on actors’ schedules and willingness to get it done.

When are auditions?
Auditions are Oct 8th 7:30pm-10:00pm and call backs are Oct 11th from 11-1pm. We will be there from 9am-11am on Saturday in case people are unable to make the Wednesday auditions. They will be held at the Echo Theatre in Provo.
