Audition Notice for Sack Lunch Theatre (paid)

Seeking Actors for Desert Star’s “Sack Lunch Theatre”
*Paid day-time gig

Needed: Energetic actors who sing, ages 18-35
Must be available Mondays and Thursdays, 10am - 2pm

Auditions: Thursday, Nov 7, 11am - Noon

Audition Requirements:

1. Prepare16-32 bars of an up-tempo song. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. No acapella performances, please.

2. Prepare (preferably memorized) one of the monologues found at http://www.desertstar.biz/Childrens/sacklunchaudition.php Remember that this is children’s theatre. Characters should be big and energetic. Comedic voices/accents are welcome and encouraged.

3. Please bring a headshot/resume.

About Sack Lunch Theatre:

Sack Lunch Theatre is a day-time educational show series that runs over the lunch hour for elementary students on school field trips. It is not a traveling company; the performances are done in Desert Star’s Dinner Theater. This is Desert Star’s 2nd year producing the Sack Lunch Theatre show series.
