Dates of Audition: Saturday March 2
Location of Audition: Utah Children’s Theatre. 3605 S. State Street, South Salt Lake UT
We are looking for experienced singer/performers between the ages of 9 and 19 for a production of Pirates of Penzance Jr. Please come with 16 bars of a classical musical theatre piece (and the sheet music). We will also be reading and singing from the script.
A resume and headshot are helpful but not required.
The show will be directed by Joanne Parker, with musical direction by Anne Puzey and choreography by Marilyn Montgomery.
There is a production fee of $150, however volunteer hours by the student and/or parent may be arranged in lieu of it.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30 and Saturdays from 9 to noon. (Additional weekdays and longer Saturday hours 2 weeks before opening.)
The show will play April 19 through 27 at Utah Children’s Theatre, 3605 S. State Street.
