Character Booking (an entertainment company that sends costumed characters and entertainers out to birthday parties and corporate events) is holding auditions this Friday, Jan 17th in Utah Valley from 7-10 and Jan 24th in Salt Lake from 7-10. We are looking to expand the company with characters we don’t currently have and have more people for the characters we do have.
“Just to let you know what the audition will be like, it is an informal setting, we will have you sit with us and we’ll just get to know you and chat with you. If you already have a costume, please bring it so that we can see it (you don’t need to wear it). If you don’t, that is fine. If you have a character in mind, let us know, if you don’t, we will discuss characters during the audition. If there are specific attributes about the character you would like to audition for, we may ask you to show us them (ie, Batman has a very specific voice, you must be able to do said voice) If you are auditioning as an entertainer (magician etc.) please be prepared to share with us your talent.”
