BYU Young Ambassador Company
The 2015-2016 company will tour to South Africa, Botswana and Swaziland.
Auditions need to be current or incoming students of Brigham Young University.
An audition appointment can be made starting after March 1 by contacting the Richards Building Music Office at (801) 422-2563.
Live auditions will be held April 6-9, 2015. Callbacks will be on Friday April 10, 2015.
- Bring a current headshot and performance résumé to the audition. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to complete an audition information card.
- All applicants should come ready to sing a ballad and an up-tempo selection. Each song should be about 16 bars in length. An accompanist will be provided.
- Please have your sheet music cut to the proper length and clearly marked.
- After your vocal audition, you will be taught several dance sequences from the Young Ambassador show. Please bring appropriate dance attire.
-Bring tennis shoes and character shoes (if possible) for the initial dance call.
