South Valley Youth Theater Presents: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast the Musical
Directed by: Jessie Ibrahim and Aubrey Hicks
• Must be 8-18 at the time of the production (November 20-23) Performance/Rehearsal Location: TBA
• Please prepare 16 measures of a Disney/Broadway style song. We will provide a pianist, and a CD/mp3 player (compatible with CD, ipod 4th gen or earlier)
• Be prepared to do a cold read from the script and learn a few counts of a dance
We will also be having auditions for dance ensemble roles (for Human Again, and Be Our Guest, and will also be filling the roles of the wolves) as well as auditions for those who only wish to be considered for choral ensemble roles (choral ensemble numbers will sing Belle, The Mob Song, Be Our Guest, Human Again and Finale). Choral and dance-only ensemble members will have a significantly reduced rehearsal schedule. We will post the rehearsal schedule once it become finalized. All ensemble members must be available for tech and dress rehearsal week, and all performances.
Cast member participation fee is $40, $30 for additional siblings with a cap of $100 per family.
Ensemble and dance-only participation fee is $20.
