This delightful musical is almost completely music. Those auditioning will sing 12 bars of a musical in the style of the show. Bring your own music - an accompanist will be provided. Or you may bring a CD accompaniment. No a cappella auditions, please. The show is presented by High Valley Arts and is directed by Sue Waldrip. Callbacks (by invitation) will be Tuesday September 24 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Midway is a beautiful small town (home of Swiss Days) just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Provo and Salt Lake to be a pleasant get-away. ”Christmas Carol” is a Midway community favorite High Valley Arts is presenting again after a 3-year break when we performed other Christmas shows. We need soloists, dancers, singers, children. Most roles are solo roles, including the three Ghosts. There are four major dances: Marley’s Ghost Dance, Fezziwig’s Ball, Abundance with Christmas Present (including kids), and the Undertaker’s Dance with Christmas Future. The musical is such a joyful journey through Scrooge’s redemption that audiences are stunned when it ends! Some reimbursement for transportation costs for those coming from SLC or Provo. Join us!
