Auditions for “13 the Musical” will be held Friday, March 27th from 6:30pm-9:30pm, and Saturday, March 28th from 10am-12pm at Jazzle Dazzle Dance Studio (3441 S. 8400 W. in Magna). Callbacks will be Saturday the 28th from 1pm-4pm by invitation only.
Auditioners should come prepared with 30 seconds of an upbeat, Broadway show tune and bring a minus track with it (we will have hook ups for iPod/cellphone a CD player). No a’capella singing will be allowed!
Performance dates for “13 the Musical” will be June 11, 12, 13 (with a matinee), & 15 at Sorenson Unity Center.

“13” is a hilarious, coming-of-age pop/rock musical about discovering that “cool” is sometimes where we least expect it.
Evan Goldman moves from his New York City home and is plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents divorce. With his Bar Mitzvah just around the corner he needs to make friends fast. Can he fit in with the “cool” kids or will his party be full of outcasts?!
The cast is comprised entirely of teenagers. Their stories and emotions bring lots of laughter.
