Compensation / Price: $10-12 per hour, approx 20 hours per week
The Talent Coordinator works closely with the Media Team to scout and recruit talent for product videos and voice work; schedules auditions and recording sessions; manages invoices, payments, and receipts; and assists Operations Coordinator with administrative duties.
Essential Functions:
1. Finds talent (talent scout). Develops and leverages relationships with local acting groups to build a network of talent.
2. Maintains talent database.
3. Coordinates quarterly auditions and workshops for talent; schedules other auditions and recording sessions as needed.
4. Works with outside vendors to source and track talent.
5. Ensures accurate payment for talent, track receipts, and maintain records.
6. Assists Operations Coordinator with administrative duties when schedule permits.
7. Attends meetings and performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Experience with the local acting talent market; previous experience finding and scheduling talent preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Good interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with both adults and children
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Word
• Tenacious; creative problem solving skills
• Spanish language skills preferred
