Eagle Mountain Community Theater proudly presents Oscar Wilde’s, The Importance of Being Earnest.
What’s in a name? When both Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff pretend to be called “Ernest” to woo their respective ladies, Gwendolyn and Cecily, confusion, mistaken identity and marriage proposals ensue. In the mist of all the confusion, Lady Bracknell who hates the idea of anyone loving anyone throws a wrench in the plans. Will the girls get to marry their own “Ernest” or will names be an insuperable barrier to wedded bliss? Does Jack find out who he is? Is Dr. Chasuble really celibate or has he won the heart of dear old Miss Prism? Come see how it all turns out and sit back with the beloved Butler and watch the hilarity unfold.
$7 presale, $10 at the door (prices increase 2/17)
