Herriman Arts Council Presents Disney’s Beauty and The Beast - A tale as old as time that will delight the entire family!
Herriman, May 1, 2015: The Herriman Arts Council is proud to present Disney’s Broadway musical, Beauty and The Beast as their 2015 summer musical!
Be Our Guest and step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s modern classic, Beauty and The Beast, an international sensation which opens in Herriman on July 9, 2015 at the Rosecrest Pavilion in the W&M Butterfield Park (6212 Butterflied Parkway in Herriman) and runs July 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20 at 7:30pm. James Crane, producer proudly announces that “Stephen Kerr, who has directed five previous Herriman Arts Council productions, will once again direct our summer musical”. Stephen currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Utah Actors Association and is a regular performer at Hale Centre Theatre, including the role of “Scrooge” in “A Christmas Carol” each December.
Stephen is excited to work with an impressive and talented cast, including Cottonwood Heights resident and current WSU theatre major Emily Wells as Belle, and as the Beast, veteran actor, DRU. Herriman’s own Brian Taylor will portray Gaston, Stephen Tobian as Lumiere, Ryan Fallis as Cogsworth, and accomplished vocalist Natalie Easter as Mrs. Potts. Other lead roles include Kellie Rodriguez as Babette, Brendan Heywood as Lefou, Marcella Fedderson, as Wardrobe, Joey West as Maurice, Ryan Hoskins as Prince, and Cooper Johnson as Chip, fresh from his role as Gavroche in the Hale Center Theater Orem production of Les Miserables.
