Private Event during Sundance Film Festival � January 2013 � This event is currently being put together. It will be an event with some of the VIP visitors here in town. Director and cast will be included as a reading of the play will occur

Benefit reading for the Utah Pride Center � February 2013 � Some of Utah�s most well know celebrities will participate in a reading to benefit the Utah Pride Center

Play Presented � Spring 2013

The play is currently being presented to production companies in San Francisco and New York. The Spring 2013 event, presented by Far Ball Production Company will be the world premiere.

Alligator Press released the play and novel simultaneously. Alligator Press is a company that specializes in publishing contemporary novels, short stories, and non-fiction narrative based on Hispanic, Women, and Queer cultural issues and themes.

The play offers an inside look at a series of events in one of the first families to join the Mormon Church. The story is enchanting and honest with touches of magical realism and raw eroticism, a story that talks about the longing for family, the resilience of the human spirit, and the superlative courage it takes to love unconditionally, a story that reveals that, ultimately, no one is without sin.

The Righteous and Very Real Housewives of Utah County tells the stories of Emma Harris, a passionate seventy-year old Mormon widow and the women around her: the wives of the Pratt family. Following the structure of Like Water for Chocolate, the book is divided into twelve chapters, each beginning with a Mormon-themed recipe. The ways in which the six protagonists cope with the pressures of living a righteous life are revealed in the context of their culinary traditions.

Set in Utah�s most conservative county the play presents six Mormon women determined and troubled, vulnerable and yet spirited.

We are looking for Director now. Working with director, we will work on cast (December) as well as other positions.
