Footloose is being directed by Joey Calkins and being put on by Draper Historic Theatre. We are currently working on getting the staff together.

Staff needs are:
Music Director - Will act as rehearsal accompanist, conductor (we'll be using live orchestra/band), and, obviously, music director.
Choreographer
Stage Manager*
Assistant Stage Manager/Property Manager* - as PM will be responsible for maintaining an invventory list of all props, sets, and costumes used for the show and will supervise their "gathering" for the show and their return after the show.
ASM/Tech* - Will assist will technical aspects of the show. Making sure that mics are ready for each show, etc.
All ASMs will assist the Stage Manager back stage. (Not every performance, however. We really only need two people there each night.)
* No experience necessary, preferred, but not neccessary. Training for these posistions can be provided.

Reeds (listed as one player, but may be broken down): Flute, Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax
Auditions will be held on August 14th. The SM, Choreographer and Music Director will need to be present. Call backs on August 17th.
Rehearsals begin August 24th and will run (most) Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, (some Fri), and Sat (am) through Sept 30th. Not all staff will be needed right away.
Sept 23 - Sitzprobe (Rehearsal with Cast and orchestra)
Sept 25 - (7am) Dry Tech (10am) Cue to cue
Sept 27 - Full run with tech, orchestra
Sept 28, 29, 30 - Dress rehearsals (full makeup, costume, etc.)
Show opens on Friday, October 1st and runs every Friday, Saturday, and Monday evening through October 23rd. There will be a matinee on Saturday the 16th.
(There may be a stipend for some of these positions. Stipends will be paid out from the show's budget. I am currently reworking the budget to try and accomodate stipends, but they are not guaranteed. Please remember that DHT is a volunteer organization.)
