I know that some people got running with the Narcoleptic Ducks and like to do 5k, 10k, Half & Full Marathons. I'll be updating this thread with runs/walks close to home. Feel free to add info to this if you know of something. Thanks!

The holiday runs are over, and there are a few crazy winter runs out there, but the first charity run I could find is the Run for Red (Red Cross) in March.  While you are getting in shape for the new year, maybe you could consider doing a few 5k or 10k runs this year:

03/07/2009
What: Run For Red 5K & 1 Mile Walk When: March 7th. Where: Independence High School Check-in/Registration starts at 9am 5K begins at 10am 1 Mile begins at 10:30am Price: $20 Adults $15 for students with a valid ID There is a group discount of $12 a person for a group of 12 or more. Participants receive a free T-shirt and free meal For more info or on-line registration go to the official race website: www.runforred.org All proceeds go to support local disaster relief.

That gives you two whole months to get in shape to run for a good cause!

This is a pretty good website for runs. Someone should put together a group for the Ragnar Relay. It's not for a charity, but I'm sure it can be used to raise money for a charity in some way.
