I received this email from my oldest regarding a co-worker of hers:

Mom, i got the following message just today. Do you or your friends have any way to help these guys?

All,

Leah and Ben Martin's condo caught fire over the weekend, on Dec 13. You
may have read the story of the Incline Terrace fire or heard about it in
the Saturday or Sunday evenings news. About 80 people were rendered
homeless because of the fire.
Ben and Leah are looking at a complete loss of not only a living place
but the majority of their personal belongings.
Those of us of who have worked with Ben and Leah would like to help.
We are taking up a collection to help them get some of the essentials.

If you would like to contribute, contact Caroljean Hanson at [email protected].

See the message below about other needs:
"We've picked up a couple air mattresses and a few friends who live
close to the U have offered us living room floors for the next couple
weeks. However if any of you know of a well priced clean small
apartment we could pick up without a lease to house us until our condo
is repaired please do let us know. In fact ... speaking of things you
can do ... if you happen to be getting new furniture for Christmas and
are taking your old stuff to the DI ... consider a couple of homeless
IT workers first."

Recopying the contact info is anybody here can help:
If you would like to contribute, contact Caroljean Hanson at [email protected].

Thanks! And Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the info, Xena. Incline Terrace is just blocks from where we are, and we didn't know about it. Ptp also knows Leah and Ben. We appreciate the post!
