Utah County Singers and Musicians with Utah Valley Choir invite those who have a positive, hopeful, joyful family-friendly type classical/music theater legit song (chapel-friendly) with what to audition for a solo/duet/ensemble piece (vocal, piano, organ, violin or other instrument) for their family-friendly Annual New Years’ Program (this is their 3rd annual performance) to be performed on Sunday, Jan.29, 2023 @ 7pm in the Chapel on 400 N. 400 E. in Springville, Utah (just south of Provo). Auditions are Sunday, Jan. 15th at 6:30pm (same place as performance– enter Chapel via the narrow north door). No need to make an apt. Just show up between 6:15-6:45pm and bring your own accompanist if needed (no sound system is available for phones). We will hear all who show up by 6:45, auditioning in order of arrival. You do not need to sing with Utah Valley Choir to be considered for a solo/duet/ensemble piece that will be presented in between choir songs, yet those mature 12 yrs of age-100ish are welcome to join the choir after auditioning if you can sight-read music in English, match pitch, blend voice, control vibrato and be fun to be with. There is no fee to join our choir or to perform in between choir songs.
