Auditions are announced for the regional premier of The Great Plan of Happiness by local playwright Mindy Curtis. The Great Plan of Happiness tells the story of Cassie, a young Mormon woman, who visits her family in Highland, Utah after spending years living and working in Chicago. She discovers, while returning to her roots, the broad effects of Mormonism upon her family and the way they live their lives. Directed by Zac Curtis.
To audition, submit a YouTube or Google Drive link to a video submission of a 60 second contemporary monologue to WasatchGreatPlan@gmail.com. Submissions must be received by Nov. 12th. Callbacks will be held in-person Nov. 16th 6-9pm. Shows run January 27-February 5 at The Box at the Gateway in SLC.
