Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script. The script is available at wasatchtheatre.org and The Final Act is about the relationship of two friends whose friendship gets tested when the one writes a play that threatens to end their friendship once and for all. What would you do for a friend? An original script by George Plautz.
Characters:
Jen – mid 20’s, high school counselor
Greg – mid 20’s, her boyfriend/ housemate, high school drama teacher, aspiring playwright
Ben – mid 20’s, his best friend, fellow aspiring playwright
Simon – early 20’s, Ben’s boyfriend
Evan – mid 20’s, Jen’s boyfriend
Damien – mid 20’s, actor and Ben’s boyfriend (can be played by the same actor as Evan)
Directed by Jim Martin. Every artist will receive a stipend. The show will run February 4-13 at the Eccles Black Box Theatre. This is part of Wasatch Theatre Company’s 25th season.
