The Dinner Detective Salt Lake City is holding it’s 2020 season Auditions!
Where:
- Hilton Salt Lake City Center – 225 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101
When:
- We have two group time slots available, actors should plan to stay for up to 2 hours:
- Friday, March 6, at 1 PM
- Friday, March 6, at 5 PM
- Do your best to be on time. We will allow late arrivals up to 15 minutes. If you are later than 15 minutes, please come to the next time slot.
- Those auditioning should expect to stay the full 2 hours but may be released sooner.
- If some or all of the time slots do not work for you, you are encouraged to submit a headshot and resume, via email, subject: “DD-SLC-Audition”.

Seeking:
- Professionally minded Actors ages 18-65, to perform individual events.
- Individual events are ongoing, most Saturday nights, only 11 actors are needed for each event.
- Actors are assigned events according to their availability, collected on a 2-month basis.
- Actors with improv experience are a plus. Actors with limited experience are also welcome to audition.
What:
- Interactive, Improv Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern-day with no costumes, and no serving required.
- The time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
- No weekly rehearsals required, you rehearse only when you are cast to perform an event.
- The show location is at the Hotel Location listed above where auditions are also held.
- Roles rotate depending on actor availability collected & scheduled on a 2-month basis.
Audition:
- 2 hours, audition consisting of improv games aimed at showcasing the skills we need from the performers in our show.
What to Prepare:
- The hard copy of headshot or recent picture & Resume, if you do not have a Headshot, resume or both, please bring a sheet of paper with your full name, email address, and phone number.
Pay:
- If cast, actors are paid a stipend per role/per show. Pay ranges from $50-$110 plus tips, pending role. Roles rotate each show.
