Murray City Cultural Arts is thrilled to announce their 2022 Youth Musical, “Once On This Island, Jr.”!

- PREPARE: 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway song
- CD and MP3 player will be available at auditions for use

“Once On This Island, Jr.”
Adapted from the celebrated Broadway musical, this rousing Calypso-flavored tale follows one small girl who find love in a world of prejudice. With it’s poignant story and catchy Caribbean-flavored score, this musical is a highly original theatrical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s popular fairy tale, “The Little Mermaid”, and the Tony-nominated Broadway musical by the legendary writing team, Ahrens and Flaherty.
“Once On This Island, Jr.” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
