Disney’s TARZAN

SVYT will be auditioning TARZAN next week Thursday April 11 and Friday April 12 from 5pm-8pm at 9563 Skye Park rd. South Jordan Ut

Come prepared with  15-30 measures of a Broadway or Disney style song.

Callbacks will be by invitation only on Saturday April 13 from 10-4

The show will perform in Midvale, end of June. We look forward to seeing you!

We will be doing multiple age casts for leads, auditioners will be auditioning by stage appearance age in the following categories;

Cast A approximately 6-12, Cast B approximately 13-15, Cast C approximately 16 and up. All cast members will perform in all shows, leads will join the ensemble for the shows they are not performing in their lead.

Character Breakdown

Kala
A gentle mother ape. Kerchak’s mate and Tarzan’s protector.

Kerchak
The gruff leader of the gorillas and Kala’s mate.

Leopard
A fierce carnivore that threatens both gorillas and humans.

Young Tarzan
An innocent young boy. Loses his parents and is raised by the apes.

A sarcastic adolescent ape. Tarzan’s best friend.

Terk
A sarcastic ape and Tarzan’s best friend.

Tarzan
A vulnerable, fearless young man raised by apes. Terk’s best friend who falls in love with Jane. Our story’s protagonist.
