Broadway On The Side is now accepting audition submissions for “HEROES & VILLAINS” ~ a musical cabaret.
SHOW: HEROES & VILLAINS ~ a musical cabaret including music from Big Fish, Wicked, and Hamilton to name a few. (Directed and choreographed by Megan Worthen Nelson, Executive Director of Broadway On The Side with recent director/choreographer credits including “Singin’ in the Rain“; vocal coaching by Kelli Morris of Kelli Morris Studios with recent credits including Directing “Bright Star” and Music Directing “R+H Cinderella”.).
WHEN: Auditions are NOW OPEN. Video submissions are DUE by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022. To audition, please have your video ready and fill out our google form HERE. Performances will be Thursdays and Fridays with two shows on Saturdays. Dates are October 27th – November 5th.
WHERE: Auditions are virtual. Callbacks are by invitation only. Callbacks, rehearsals, and performances will take place in Ogden, UT.
FOR YOUR AUDITION: Please slate at the beginning of your video and tell us your name. Include 60 seconds of a song you feel would go well in the the style of the show. Use your selection to showcase your vocal and storytelling ability. A headshot and resume are also requested to be uploaded, but not required.
REHEARSALS: Our schedule is based around actor availability since many of our performers are concurrently involved in other shows. Having conflicts does not mean you won’t be cast; so don’t be afraid to audition!
PAY: Cast members will receive an even percentage of all proceeds from our pay-what-you-can night.
No participation fee.
No equity contracts available.
Stage manager, lighting, and sound positions also available. Set pay rates per show.
